Washington State
The school-to-prison pipeline pushes Washington’s most vulnerable students out of classrooms and into the justice system. We’re building a coalition to stop it.
What Is the Pipeline?
Zero-tolerance discipline policies, police in schools, and chronic underfunding push our most vulnerable students — disproportionately students of color and students with disabilities — out of classrooms and into the justice system. Our coalition brings together advocates, educators, families, and formerly impacted youth to change that.
